  At Red Hawk, Arthur Hills has designed a classic golf course using the natural flow of the terrain, playing across and along the natural ridges, valleys, ravines and wet lands. The course was carved out of 205 acres of forest with huge pine, oak, maple, beech and birch trees lining fairways and providing dramatic backdrops for greens. Red Hawk blends with and beautifully complements the vegetation and the rolling terrain, offering a spectacular natural setting for a championship golf course. What astounds everyone who visits Red Hawk is that such varied elevation exists on the east side of Michigan. For example, our third hole drops some 63 feet from tee to green with the green perched above the clear-running Fountain Creek.
